Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! My Facebook is currently littered with people listing all of the amazing things they’ve done and achieved this year. I personally feel like I woke up in 2014, popped the kettle on, and now the year is over already. Surely I can’t be alone in this?
Anywho, to round up the year, we thought we would take a look back at some of the outfits the past twelve months have seen us wearing on this here blog. Lauren’s currently on a train to London for NYE celebrations (probably drunk off gin already; it is gone ten after all) so she’ll do hers whenever the hell she can be bothered. But for now, here are mine. TRY TO CONTAIN YOUR EXCITEMENT, PLEASE.
For the most part, I would say I’ve kept to my usual style this year in that monochrome and fitted pieces have continued to reign supreme. I also will not be caught dead with my hair up and my big ear waving to the world. I think I got slightly more grown up in the second half of the year, probably after I got asked for ID to buy Paracetomol when I was wearing one of my ‘I’m still in Sixth Form’ crop top and Converse combos. Next year I hope to take a few more risks, bring more colour into my ‘drobe and maybe finally achieve that pinnacle of adulthood – the ownership of ‘investment pieces’. Cor.
