Beauty Haul | MAC, Soap & Glory and More

Beauty Haul

Hey hey sexy things! Firstly, apologies for the lack of photos in this post –  I did plan to photograph everything separately obvi, but the camera decided to start being an absolute gimp (well to be honest, it could be the fault of the camera or it could be the fault of the Poundland batteries that I put in the camera… but we’ll blame the camera because then it’s not my fault for being tight). So, alas, we’ll have to make do with what we have. I’ll be reviewing most of these in full over the next couple of weeks anyway, but here’s a brief overview of some beauty bits I’ve picked up recently…

Soap and Glory ‘The Ultimelt’ Hot Cloth Cleanser. I finally decided to get serious about my skincare regime and was umming and ahhing over a few different hot cloth cleansers. The Liz Earle one is obviously the most raved about, but when Soap and Glory products were on offer recently in Boots, I decided to give their offering a try. I’ve been using this for around a month now and absolutely LOVE it (so much so that when I left my original tube in Newcastle after a weekend away, I actually re-purchased at full price. Wowza). My skin’s visibly improved since using this and it’s always left feeling soft and moisturised too.

Lee Stafford Breaking Hair Leave-In Treatment. With an excessive amount of bleaching and heat, both my natural hair and my extensions take quite a lot of abuse from me. This Lee Stafford treatment is applied before blow drying to help repair damaged hair. Watch this space.

HairREV Hair Supplements*. We would all like our hair to grow quicker and be healthier, and these supplements from HairREV promise to do just that. I’ve just started my 30 day course of tablets and can’t wait to report back to y’all on how they went. If you want to jump straight in and give them a go yourself, then the lovely people at HairREV have hooked us up with our own discount codes. For a one-month supply, enter ‘Stylingo15’ at the checkout, for a two-month supply, enter ‘Stylingo20’, and for a three-month supply, enter ‘Stylingo25’ – and this will get you 15%, 20% or 25% off respectively.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. I’m SO late to the ABH party, I know, but I recently spent an entire day watching eyebrow tutorials and eventually decided I needed this in my life. I bought mine from Beautybay where it’s £15 with free delivery, and so far, so good.

MAC Creme D’Nude. This is one of my favourite lipstick shades ever, and also one of the first products I ever reviewed on Stylingo (you can read my Creme D’Nude review for lols there, if you so wish). It is a bit ‘foundation lip’ for some people, but I will always love it with a fiery passion.

MAC Velvet Teddy. Again, I am SO late jumping on this bandwagon, but my god, I’m happy I finally have.  I was OF COURSE tempted to buy the Whirl lipliner to go with it, but after doing some researchin’ online, I heard that NYX lipliner in ‘Mauve’ was a good dupe, so I bought that instead. And they are so good together.. Like, Kylie-and-Jason, Kim-and-Kanye good together. SO good. Once my camera sorts itself out (*cough* I buy some batteries that aren’t from Poundland), I will swatch away.

What do you all think of this haul? And what have you been buying lately? Let us know in the comments below!

I haven’t jumped on the velvet teddy bandwagon yet, I can’t decide if it would suit me or not. Also I love the ABH dipbrow, it’s amaaaaaze!

I wasn’t sure myself as I by NO means have Kylie Jenner colourings, but I love it on! Think it’s one of those ‘suits all’ shades so I def say give it a go 🙂 xx

I love the Ultimelt! And Soap and Glory in general for that matter! Been keeping an eye out for the Nyx Mauve lip liner for ages now and it’s always out of stock 🙁 it will be mine one day! As will the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade when I finally settle on a shade! Danielle’s Beauty Blog
