Drugstore Products I’ll Keep Repurchasing

Drugstore Products I'll Keep RepurchasingI admit, when it comes to beauty products, this ho ain’t loyal. One of the major perks of blogging is trying new products and, even when I really love something, it’s never long before a shiny new version comes along that I want to try even more. So if I end up actually buying a product again and again, forsaking all others, then you know it’s a really good one.

There are three products I’ve picked up recently that have all been re-purchases – and the best thing is that they’re all drugstore, so they won’t break/damage/even slightly affect the bank. First up, we have Seventeen’s Define and Conquer Contouring Kit. I first reviewed this product back in November 2014 (and you can read said review here), so we’re talking about an LTR of nearly 2 years here. Good pigmentation and a super blendable formula are two of the main selling points of the kit, but the main reason I love it is for the matte highlighter which also has a nice element of coverage, making it the best under-eye product I’ve ever found. My only bugbear with this is that I do get through them so quickly, always hitting pan on the highlighter after around 4-6 weeks. But I’ll continue to re-purchase because I honestly love it. If they sold the highlighter separately then I would honestly stock up on a lifetime’s worth.

Best Drugstore ProductsBest Drugstore Products Beauty BlogNext, there’s Bourjois’ Twist Up the Volume mascara, which I’ve now re-purchased for the third time. This might not sound like too many, but considering mascaras used to be the product I would switch up the most, it says a lot. You can read my Twist Up the Volume review for the full details, but basically I love the fact that this is essentially two mascara brushes in one once you’ve ‘twisted’ the wand. The longer version is amazing for adding length and separating lashes, and the stubbier one adds volume.

Seventeen Wow! Skin Concealer is the newest of my drugstore loves, but having repurchased it for the second time I know I’ll probably never be without one of these for long. In shade Fair, this is the nicest under-eye concealer and brightens the face up beautifully. I swatched it in this comparison post so check that out if you would like a bit more info. The abridged version is this though: I love it, and you need it.

These are my favourite drugstore buys that I’ll keep repurchasing – but what are yours? Let me know your holy grails in the comments below!

That Seventeen Skin Concealer is like a YSL Touche Eclat dupe.. It looks incredible! I’ll have to try this when my Touche Eclat runs out : ) xx

Mine are definitely the collection concealer and the Loreal Miss Manga Punky mascara. The only two things I’m loyal too!

There are only a few products that I keep repurchasing, like my favourite mascara, lipstick and nail polish 🙂 Hitting the pan in 4-6 months? That’s quick, I don’t know when was the last time I git the pan 🙂 I want to try that concealer, I need to finish the ones I have first before they expire 🙂 x

I haven’t tried anything from Seventeen for ages, definitely going to have to add a few more products to my wishlist! Great post.

These all sound so fab! (I also love how similar the Seventeen packaging is to NARS & YSL!) Love the sound of the matte highlighter as well.
Sadly, these are so hard to find in the US :/
