Peachy Fox Anti-Redness Skin Calming Cream | Review

In a complete 180 degree turn on my old attitude to skincare (which was, to summarise: zzz facewipes are all I need and I’ll be young forever) I now can’t get enough of the stuff. I’m always on the lookout for new products that will transform my dull, blotchy skin into something altogether more fabulous. Yep, I’m still chasing the dream of that #NoMakeupSelfie. I was recently sent the Anti-Redness Facial Cream* by Peachy Fox and, having seen it around the ‘gram a bit, I was intrigued to give it a go.

First of all it’s worth mentioning that I’m a big fan of the whole ethos of the Peachy Fox brand. It describes itself as being a “conscious, all natural skincare brand” using “stunningly clean products that really do what they say on the bottle”. They’re also cruelty-free, paraben-free and organic. While I’m not a militant user of organic or natural skincare, it always definitely piques my interest in a brand. I mean, I slather my face in enough gunk every day, so it’s nice to know that it can be treated to some natural goodness once in a while, y’know?!

I was excited to try the Anti-Redness Facial Cream because as I mentioned, I am one blotchy girl. I don’t suffer from rosacea or anything serious, but uneven skin tone is definitely one of my main bugbears. My skin can also become easily irritated, and sometimes my eyes get sensitive and puffed up if I’m even remotely stressed, so the calming properties of this moisturiser also appealed to me.

Overall, I’ve really been enjoying using this cream. I’ll admit that I’m not a huge fan of the scent, but that’s no biggie as it fades quickly. The formula though, is lovely – the blend of flaxseed oil, green tea, cucumber extract, chamomile and rosehip oil clearly works because this feels light and fresh but also really moisturising on the skin. I’ve been applying it most nights for a couple of weeks now and each morning I wake up to a calm, even skintone. With prices for their skincare ranging all around the £13.99 mark, Peachy Fox is a nicely-priced brand that I really recommend checking out. You can read more about them here.
