I love blogging. I love breakfast. So when Johnny Loves Rosie invited me to a bloggers’ breakfast at the lovely Cote Brasserie in The Mailbox I RSVPd faster than you can say “shovel all of the carbs into my mouth, please and thank you”. I already knew a little bit about jewellery brand Johnny Loves Rosie after seeing them on ASOS, but I was looking forward to finding out more – while hanging out with some of my favourite Birmingham blogger baes, of course.
On arrival at Cote (which I need to go back to asap as it was diviiiiiine), I was greeted by Victoria and Charlotte from Johnny Loves Rosie. All of our places at the table were laid out with name tags, a lovely little giftbox for us all and plenty of gorgeous jewellery for us to swoon over as we ate breakfast. I caught up with some of my favourite bloggers including Ally, Amy and Heidi and met some new faces too, all while learning more about this amazing brand.
It was great to learn that Johnny Loves Rosie is a Midlands-based brand, and also to see such a wide selection of their products. As well as the cute necklaces and bracelets I’ve seen stocked on ASOS, they also sell watches, hair accessories and even clutch bags – all with the ultra-feminine, vintage vibes that are characteristic of the brand. Their range of chokers was my favourite, and I happily could have slipped them all into my bag if that wasn’t… y’know… theft.
In our goodie bag (or goodie box, to be exact), we were lucky enough to each receive a gorgeous Johnny Loves Rosie necklace, along with plenty of other beauty treats. I got the nicest black choker (which you can see in my last post), and I’ve been wearing it almost daily since the breakfast. I couldn’t resist putting together a little wishlist so you can all become as obsessed with Johnny Loves Rosie as I am. Just kidding those chokers are lush! I love hearing the story and vision behind my favourite brands, although it’s not good for my bank and I just end up buying everything!
