HELLO MY LOVES. I hope that ultra jolly greeting makes you overlook the fact that I’m stupidly late with this round-up, but my oh my, it’s been a busy few weeks.

October was one of my favourite months of the year so far – possibly because I spent a lot of it drunk, but there were other reasons to enjoy it too. At the start of the month it was my birthday, which I actually really enjoyed despite once vowing not to celebrate any birthday post-25. As well as a night out with my friends, I also had a night away in Liverpool with the boyfriend (yes I just dropped the b-bomb on my blog – what’s happened to me?) And although I’m not materialistic (lol), I also got some nice gifts that you can check out here.

OH and I had to renew my car insurance and it’s like halved now I’m a bonafide adult. 26 is the ONE; I encourage you all to turn 26 immediately.

Blog-wise, it was also a really busy month. First of all, I paid a visit to the Lush store in Coventry for a sneak peek at their new releases for Halloween and Christmas. So. Much. Glitter. I got to take away a wee bottle of their new Bubbly shower gel, which I’ve become a bit obsessed with and will definitely need a larger bottle of this year. I also attended an amazing beauty event at Debenhams in the Bullring for Halloween, #Glamoween. There were treats aplenty as we were shown tutorials at the beauty counters and then given the most fantastic goody bag to take away with us. I had a Halloween party a few days later, and put some of the products to good use with the candy skull look below (sorry I’m such a basic bitch).

halloweenSo all in all, my October was a complete and utter success. So far November’s been a disaster since I found out that Costa aren’t doing the white hot chocolates on this year’s Christmas menu, but I suppose there’s still some time for it to pick up.

What did you all get up to in October? Let me know in the comments!
