Outfit of the Day: Topshop Gingham Treggings

OOTD Topshop Gingham TreggingTop: Topshop / Treggings: Topshop / Boots: New Look / Hat: H&M / Bag: Primark / Watch: Casio (available via ASOS)

First of all – EWW could my extensions be looking any rattier? Thank the sweet baby Jesus and all of the animals in the manger that Dirty Looks have sent us new extensions to try out (review coming soon!) so hopefully this rattiness can be put to an end.

Secondly – oops, I went to Topshop! I’d had my eye on this pair of checked leggings for the last couple of weeks, but after trying on a few options in the shop I found this pair of treggings to be more flattering due to the thicker material. Also, HELLO, but gingham is so the new tartan anyway. Hair flick.

OOTD Topshop Treggings and Berlin TeeI also picked up this burnout effect ‘Berlin’ slogan t-shirt. I’m always a bit iffy when it comes to t-shirts; I hate when they have a proper Fruit of the Loom kind of neck on them as I feel like I’m being strangled by my own clothes – but there was something about this loose fitting one that I liked. Also as far as slogan tees go, ‘Berlin’ is pretty non-offensive, and I don’t feel like too much of a fraud because I have in fact been there (lovely place, lots of tall people and sausages).

What do you all think of this outfit? Have you seen anything you like in Topshop lately?

Ahh, I definitely recommend these then – they’re thicker than leggings so you can get away with them with a shorter top. And they’re quite sucky-in which is always a plus! xx

Aw thank you – I had to hide them under this hat haha! xx

I’m really liking it as an alternative to tartan at the mo, which is odd and I used to hate it (think it dates back to my school summer dress being blue and white gingham haha). Thanks for the comment! xx

Awh I bought the same outfit last week and love it! Haven’t worn these two together, I wore the gingham leggings with a white crop and heeled sandals for a night but love how you’ve styled these together with the boots so glad I’ve seen this 🙂 you look great!

Yay, great minds 😉 That sounds amazing; I think the fact they can be dressed up or down is one of the things I like most about them! xx

Hahaha I say this but I still keep finding myself lusting over the odd tartan piece – but NO, tartan is dead, gingham is the way forward! xx

Cute outfit. Really like this look …on you!! On me it would look like grand prix gone terribly wrong. xx

Hahaha I refuse to believe that! I will always look at these as being Grand Prix trousers now though, thanks haha 😉 xx
