Bloody hell, October already then lasses? Let’s all just act like this is fine, shall we? I actually toyed with not doing a favourites post this month because it’s flown by so quickly I feel like I’ve barely had time to even apply any makeup, but when I really thought about it I realised there are a few new things I’ve been enjoying this month. So here they be.
First up, we have the Freedom Pro Contour Kit. I placed a little Freedom order last month and was a bit underwhelmed with a few things I bought, but this contouring kit really impressed me. It has actually replaced my beloved Seventeen Define and Conquer as my everyday contour kit (though I still 100% recommend that one). This is mainly because – as you can see in the above photo, where you can see how just how much I’ve been using it – the highlighting portion is for once larger than the contour pan. HURRAY. Next, there is the LiLash Eyelash Serum*. This isn’t quite a favourite yet because I’m only a week or so into my 12 week trial, but I was SO excited to receive it that I decided to include it anyway. Also, the packaging is definitely a favourite already; I love my some holographic print.
A product that I’ve actually had for a while but have recently started loving is this little roll-on perfume from River Island. It’s the perfect handbag product as it’s so tiny, and you can quickly freshen up your scent without spraying the whole room (which can sometimes be a tad obnoxious in my opinion – maybe we don’t all want to smell like a sexy darling, alright?) Next, I had to treat myself to a new MAC lipstick for my upcoming birthday night out. Like, had to. After lots of online swatch hunting, I settled on Sin, which is a matte finish deep reddy-brown. Oh, it is love.
And FINALLY my last favourite of the month is quite a different one, but I was sent an EarlyBird Tastebox* to try this month and I must say it is quite brilliant. The 5 snacks inside are quite similar to those found in another snack subscription box I could but won’t mention (but y’all know who I mean), but this also comes with some very cool added extras such as 2 specially selected teas, an illustration from an up-and-coming artist AND a free music download. You can get your first Tastebox for only 1 ENGLISH POUND, so I definitely recommend you all go and sign up here now.
That’s it for my September favourites! Have you tried any of these products? What are your favourites from the month? Let me know in the comments.
