Last week, I was lucky enough to be invited by the hotties at Ann Summers celebrate the launch of Jess Wright’s new swimwear range at their store in the Bullring. TOWIE’s Jess is the first ever celebrity ‘face of’ for an Ann Summers swimwear collection, so it’s a really exciting time for both parties and I couldn’t wait to see what they had come up with.
The range is made up of 15 pieces, and has everything from bandeau styles and cleavage-boosting bikini tops to Marbs-perfect monokinis. There’s something to suit nearly all shapes and sizes, with the collection ranging from 32A to 38G cup sizes, and clothes sizes 8-18. As well as swimwear, there are also gorgeous cover ups and playsuits. You can take a look at the full range of Ann Summers swimwear online, but be warned – you’re going to want it ALL.
As well as lusting over the collection, I also got to sit down with Jess herself and quiz her on the range. Here’s what she had to say…
What’s your favourite piece from the collection?
What would your personal tips be for having body confidence on the beach?
Drink lots of water – that’s a really good one, as it flushes a lot of the fat out. Then just wear something that flatters your shape.
So what styles do you think suit you the best?
I quite like monokinis on me, and something that will cover my boobs well.
[At this point I begin waffling about how I can’t wear monokinis because I look like a genuine child at a swimming lesson thanks to my lack of boobs, and Jess pipes up with “You have lovely boobs!” and swiftly takes the title as My Favourite Person Ever.]
Jess was absolutely lovely, as were all of Ann Summers girls. Afterwards, I was allowed to choose a lingerie set to take away with me, and they were all so helpful as I faced the inevitable meltdown of struggling with too much choice. I eventually opted for this gorgeous set, which is the Savage Beauty Mint/Black Longline Bra and matching Savage Beauty Side Tie Thong (sorry if you were hoping to see something raunchy and crotchless).
A huge thank you to everyone at Ann Summers for inviting us to the event, and to Jess for being such a beaut!
