MAC Mineralise Soft and Gentle | Max lipstick ‘Faux’ | MAC Feline kohl eyeliner | Pandora charms | YSL Black Opium | Yankee candle | Bottega Rose Gold Prosecco | Kurt Geiger bag
So yeah, it’s that time again: another birthday is nearly upon me. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, and I know that birthdays are so not about the presents (they’re about the gradual slide towards old age and death)(and also about cake), but this year I decided to take matters into my own hands to ensure that if my family are kind enough to buy me gifts, then they get me ones I’ll genuinely love. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I really am still scarred by the year my dad and stepmum bought me a paper laminator for my birthday. I was about 11. Seriously. #NeverForget
Therefore, in the same manner that people register for wedding gifts so they don’t end up without about eight toasters, I’ve compiled a list with options that my family can buy me. I’ve passed it onto my sister who can circulate it to my parents. Kind of like a food menu, if you will. As you’ll see, I’m a bit obsessed with MAC at the moment after my express makeover last week, and I’m also in need of a new perfume because I don’t think a £4 Soap and Glory body spray is really okay when you’re nearly 26.
Not all of the above is on the list as I’m not that spoiled. So for the reference of any kind strangers reading this then still available on the birthday menu is the Yankee candle, Bottega Prosecco, and the Kurt Geiger bag (though even I accept that might be a bit much to ask for, and instead I’ll be keeping an eye on the Love The Sale’s Kurt Geiger sale page. But if you really really want to treat me then I ain’t complaining).
Have you tried any of the items on my birthday wishlist? Let me know in the comments!
