Spring Homeware Haul with Ocean

If you had a look at my recent homeware haul/room tour post, then you’ll know that interiors and homeware are something I’m REALLY into right now. My Instagram feed (*cough* here *cough* – can’t miss out on a social media plug, can I?) is littered with home inspo posts of white floorboards and minimalist furniture. While I don’t think my landlady would appreciate me tearing up the carpets, Spring does give me a fine excuse give my house a little TLC. Ocean very kindly gave me the chance to spruce up my home by buying a few new pieces.

Of course, Primark was my first destination as their homeware game has been on point for the last year or so. To add to the Scandi look I’m trying to go for in my bedroom and a bit of texture, I picked up this grey fur cushion that I think only cost around £4. To add to my growing print wall, I also picked up the super cheap ‘Be Peaceful, Be Happy, Be Whole’ framed canvas. Be More Cringey, I know, but you can’t argue with the price (which I think was £3). The skull print on the left has also now been added to my wall, and was a sneaky eBay find that I LOVE.

I know stationery isn’t really homeware, but in my defence I’m planning to frame one of the A4 folders you can see in the above photo as they’re just flippin’ adorable (the bottom one is also marble-effect, so hello flatlay potential). Finally, I would like to claim that I was creative enough to come up with this snazzy way of displaying sunglasses, but it was something I saw on Instagram. I think it’s really cute though, and the copper wire clothes hangers are a really affordable way to try it out.

With just a few little additions, my room is already feeling refreshed for Spring. Now if the weather could just get the Spring memo, we’d all be happy…

Have you bought any homeware recently? Where would you recommend? Let me know in the comments!

Just followed your stunning Insta feed lovely! The only homeware hauls I’ve been doing recently have been nursery ones. I’ve bought enough woodland animals and prints to last me a lifetime. I love the rose gold hangers!

Skull print and Primark canvas are great, I am sure they will look good on the wall. After seeing your cup, all I could think was “I hate my job, I don’t do what I love”, I need something like this to remind me that I should do what I love! I will be moving in a few months so after that I can start getting decoration bits, I can’t wait for it 🙂 xx

I loved what you picked! I’m obsessed with homeware. Currently trying to convince my fiancee that ripping the carpets up in the study is a good idea haha.

I have such a thing for metallic prints at the moment – they can look SO good lined up against a desk! 🙂 Ah, you’ve got me dreaming of home accessories shopping….
