If you know me, then you’ll know that romance isn’t really my thing. Even when I’m seeing someone, I’m not very good at Valentines’ Day (I once got in trouble with an ex because he wrote a really long soppy essay in my V Day card, and all I wrote in his was ‘Safe, Claire’). So while it’s probably for the best that I’m single this February 14th so as not to ruin anyone else’s romantic intentions, this fact hasn’t stopped me from having a little browse at what I might like to receive if I had any secret admirers out there. Don’t all rush at once now lads, seriously.
Anyway, I decided to focus my wishlist around my favourite shopping centre on the planet, the Bullring in my local city of Birmingham. As I’ve wittered on about before, the Bullring has every shop you can imagine and so everything on my wishlist can be picked up from somewhere inside.
CK Bralet & CK Briefs via Topshop | Michael Kors Leather Cross Body Bag via Selfridges |Ann Summers Sicily Lingerie Set | Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne via Selfridges | Yankee Large Jar Candle via Debenhams | Real Techniques Bold Metal Brushes via Boots | Hotel Chocolat Goodie Bag
If you are paying a visit to the Bullring to pick up a Valentines’ Day gift for your other half, OR just fancy treating yourself (like me) then there are also a few special offers on in the shopping centre. These include:
- a free gift when you pick up a lingerie set from Boux Avenue,
- a free candle when you spend £150 at Cadenzza,
- complimentary engraving and calligraphy services available at Selfridges (though I do warn you that buying yourself a V Day card is a bit on the brink of weirdness).
You can also keep an eye on the Bullring events page to see what other offers pop up over the next couple of weeks.
What’s on your wishlist this Valentines’ Day? Let me know in the comments!
